Queen of Coins

June 30th

My story:
This card comes out a lot when dealing with a person who will put on a good face and protect their family from rumors at any cost. It does not matter what goes on on the inside, the outsider should never know there is trouble in paradise. This card often comes up for the type of person who would suffer and compromise for the sake of apearances.

General Meaning:
Represents a woman who loves being a mother and dedicates much time to her family. She will go to a great length to keep her family and its reputation safe. Her children are educated and have the best of everything in life.

Queen of Cups

May 2nd

My story:

To me this card represents hot-headed person who acts and then thinks, she (or in some cases he) is overly protective of loved ones and will stand by them whether they are right or wrong. This person needs to cool down and think before acting, they need to be careful so that later on they would not be living with regrets.

General Meaning:

Represents newly pregnant mother, idealistic, dreamy, without a clue what has she gotten herself into. Emotions run hight, it could be either warm and fuzzy period or full of moodiness.

The Empress

April 20th - May 20th

My story:

Back in August 2008, after our overdue honeymoon, when my husband and I first started talking about having children, we went to a seven-hour Mess to celebrate Assumption of Mary. That same day I pulled out "card of the day" and I got Empress. The white dove on the card was the dove that came to Mary right after immaculate conception. And I got that card specifically on the day when everyone celebrates Virgin Mary and all those who wishes to get pregnant ask her blessing. I took it as a sign that perhaps I should ask too:)

Now, almost 3 years later, when my son is about to turn one, I realized the true meaning of the car. The Empress denotes time frame from April 20th to May 20th and Assumption of Mary takes place on August 15th. Exactly one year from the day I pulled out the Empress card, I conceived - sometime in August 2009, and my due date was May 17th according to me and May 20th according to my doctor. My son, Alejandro, was born May 13th.

General Meaning:

Represents fertile time, the end of April and better part of May, also signifies beginning of something whether you are ready or not. Motherhood, fertility
